Welcome to the 2020 Lakota Tomahawks Football and Cheer registration. The Registration Fee includes all necessary equipment except cleats for football. The 2020 Registration does not include the $60 Fundraiser Fee or $50 Volunteer Fee that all football players and cheerleaders must pay and can be earned back. Any fees added later when the season starts are Team specific and are determined by the Coaches, not the Lakota Tomahawks organization. You may be asked to participate in fundraising. You are expected to participate in all team fundraisers. You can also earn $25 for every new player or cheerleader you refer excluding family members. The sibling discount is $50 after the first child. There is no need to pay at this time. However, take advantage of the Early Bird Registration and save 20% off the Registration Fee if you register and pay by April 1, 2020.
We have a minimum of two football teams and two cheer teams in each grade. A third team existed in some grades in 2019 and we will have a third team in any grade that has enough players to support it. In order to provide a productive learning enviroinment to teach football fundamentals, each team is limited to 24 players. Cheer squads are also limited to provide each cheerleader with the best experience possible.
A player's primary residence should be within the boundaries of the Lakota Local School District or they are to attend a school within the district. We are a school district based organizatoin but understand that circumstances arise which make it difficult for some children to play in their own district. We have an opportunity to accomodate some individuals, but not all, depending on the circumstances as we have to abide by league rules. If you did not play for the Lakota Tomahawks last year, and you do not live in the Lakota School District or attend a Lakota School, please email the Board at info@lakotatomahawks.org. Teams are Grade-Level based with a maximum age cutoff for each grade. If older than the cutoff date, a player can move up to the next grade. Residency will be verified. Copies of Birth Certificate and Grade Level Verification will be required.
